Welcome to Tutoera (accessible at tutoera.in), a specialized feature and platform operated by ClgKart Private Limited ("Company", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tutoera’s teacher directory and tutor discovery services. By submitting a tutor request or listing yourself as an educator on Tutoera, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Corporate Identity & Platform Nature

  • Ownership: Tutoera and the domain tutoera.in are fully owned, managed, and operated by ClgKart Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of India.
  • Casual Discovery Directory: Tutoera operates purely as an online marketplace directory connecting student seekers ("Students") with independent private tutors, educators, and senior mentors ("Teachers").
  • No Direct Employment / Agency: Tutoera and ClgKart Private Limited are not educational institutions, employment agencies, or tutoring bureaus. Teachers listed on Tutoera are independent providers and are neither employees nor agents of ClgKart Private Limited.
  • Prohibition on Government Teachers: Teachers currently employed in any government-owned or government-aided educational institution are strictly prohibited from registering or listing on Tutoera.

2. Student Terms & Request Workflow

  • No Account Creation: Students are not required to create a password-protected user account or complete a traditional registration process.
  • Request Submission: To request contact details or connect with a Teacher on Tutoera, a Student must submit: Name, Phone Number, Grade/Academic Level, Learning Expectations, Requested Timetable, and an optional upload of their latest academic result/marksheet.
  • Authentication & Persistence: Students must verify their email address via an automated verification link or OTP to finalize a request. Personal data is persisted locally and server-side to facilitate subsequent requests without requiring repeated data entry, while remaining tied to the verified phone number.
  • Request Tracking: Repeat requests made using the same phone number across different Teachers are tracked and logged with date and time stamps in our internal administrative system to prevent platform abuse.
  • Booking Charge: ClgKart Private Limited reserves the right to levy a 3% one-time platform discovery charge on Tutoera, calculated on the Teacher’s quoted fee. This fee may be waived under a limited-time promotional feature flag at the Company’s sole discretion.

3. Teacher Onboarding & Obligations

  • Listing Onboarding Data: Teachers must supply accurate information, including Full Name, Full Address (matching government ID), Employment Status (including company/institution name and start date if employed), Subjects Taught, Fees, Headline, Years of Experience, Highest Qualification, Gender, Bio, and Teaching Modes (Online/Offline/Individual/Batch).
  • Lifetime Listing Fee: A one-time listing fee of ₹99 may be charged for lifetime listing active status on Tutoera (currently optional/waived under feature flags).
  • Identity Verification (Internal Only): Teachers must upload a public profile image and internal identification/address proof documents (e.g., masked Aadhaar card, utility bill, or digital birth certificate). These documents are used exclusively for internal verification by ClgKart Private Limited administrators and will never be rendered publicly.
  • Profile Approval & Public ID: Upon manual administrator review and approval of the submitted credentials, the system automatically generates a unique public Tutoera Teacher ID.
  • Profile Editing Restrictions: Once approved, Teachers may independently edit only their Subjects and Fees. Modifications to any other profile fields (e.g., Name, Address, Qualifications) require contacting Tutoera Support.

4. Search, Radius, & Address Confidentiality

  • Location & Privacy Shield: Teachers submit exact address details privately for internal verification and distance matching.
  • Public Visibility: Students searching by location will see Teacher profiles based strictly on approximate radial distance (e.g., "Within 3 km") and general pincode/area locality. Exact street addresses and contact numbers are never rendered publicly on search result pages.
